Matt is one of the guys that showed up to our first bible study meeting as a freshman. His second semester, Matt and I began meeting on Tuesday mornings at the bagel shop across from campus to go through discipleship materials like How to share your faith and living a Spirit filled life. We went out on campus together one afternoon that semester to share our faith. While out, we called another freshman guy who had visited our bible study to meet up with us in the student center. As Matt and I explained the gospel to him, he understood his need for a savior for the first time and he accepted Christ as a new believer!
Over the next two years Matt became a leader in the movement at NC State. Together with another student, he began leading a freshman bible study, has taken other students with him to Winter Conference and has even been overseas on a Campus Crusade summer project. It’s so encouraging to be a part of Matt’s life and see first hand how God is growing him in maturity and using him to impact lives for eternity.
